On Wednesday, February 26, students of IFAK Don Bosco actively participated in a Mass Sports event, a special program designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and social cohesion. The event featured a variety of activities aimed at improving flexibility, endurance, and overall well-being.
The session began with jogging, allowing students to warm up and boost their cardiovascular health. This was followed by dynamic stretching with music dance, an energetic routine that combined movement with rhythm, making the exercise both engaging and beneficial. The students then transitioned to static stretching with music dance, focusing on flexibility and muscle relaxation.
In addition to these exercises, students took part in basketball and volleyball, two sports that not only enhance physical fitness but also strengthen teamwork and coordination.
Speaking about the importance of such activities, Etienne Ntambara, the coach of IFAK Teams, emphasized that exercise fosters discipline, teamwork, and social cohesion, which are essential in building a healthier and more united community.
He highlighted that sports are not just about physical activity but also about instilling values that extend beyond the field.
The event was a success, with students actively engaging in every session and showing enthusiasm for fitness. IFAK Don Bosco continues to prioritize physical education as an integral part of holistic learning, ensuring that students grow into well-rounded individuals who value health, teamwork, and discipline.
