In the realm of education, finding a school that genuinely cares for our children’s growth and well-being is a pursuit every parent cherishes. Enter Don Bosco Nursery and Primary School, a place that not only meets but exceeds these expectations.

On July 6, 2024, a breathtaking event took place at this prestigious institution. It was the end of the school year 2023/2024 and graduation for nursery-level students.

The event began with a thanksgiving Mass presided over by Rev. Father Ntirenganya Jean Bosco, principal of IFAK Don Bosco Kimihurura. The day was marked by student performances, speeches from parent representatives and school administration, and the presentation of certificates to students who completed the nursery level.

Additionally, all students received their grades as they concluded the 2023/2024 academic year, with awards given to the best-performing students.

In his homily, Rev. Father Ntirenganya emphasized that the end of the school year and graduation for nursery-level students is an occasion to thank God.

“God has done great things for us, and holy is His name. Every parent, teacher, and student is saying these words as a way of thanking Almighty God for the year we are closing today,” he said.

Rev. Father Ntirenganya also expressed gratitude to the parents and teachers who nurture the grace of children given by God, noting that the fruits of their efforts are now tangible.

During the event, parents praised the teachers, expressing appreciation for their role in the development and education of their children. Parents of children who completed the nursery level presented gifts to all teachers who have cared for their children throughout the journey.

In her speech, Sister Marie Josee Uwizera, the headteacher of Don Bosco Nursery and Primary School, stated that the school is consistently growing. She emphasized that the institution will continue to improve education rooted in Christian values and foster children who will mature into responsible citizens, serving their country and obeying the law.

Sister Marie Josee also shared her joy in seeing the happiness of parents and the increasing excitement of the children studying at the school each year.

The director of IFAK, where Don Bosco Nursery and Primary School is located, assured parents that the Salesian administration is making every effort to ensure that the children continue to have access to improved education services. Father Jean Bosco Ntirenganya praised the parents for cooperating with the school’s management to provide quality education for the children.

The school offers both French and English programs, with French being primarily used at the nursery level.
